Job Description
At JEM Childcare Solutions, we are seeking a dedicated and passionate nursery assistant to support our team in providing high-quality care for children. As a bank staff member on a Zero hour contract, you will work as needed to ensure the smooth operation of our nursery.

The Marston Day Nursery is a 101 place setting, offering a purpose-built environment with a fantastic outdoor space. Our nursery is easily accessible by public transport, making it an ideal location for those living in Bedford and Milton Keynes. We pride ourselves on our excellent local reputation and commitment to delivering outstanding care for children.

Key ResponsibilitiesAs a nursery assistant, you will be responsible for:

Providing stimulating and purposeful experiences for children, tailored to their age and developmental stage
Enhancing the daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development
Assisting with the implementation of an effective key person approach to foster secure attachments
Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor
Working collaboratively with the team to support all children and colleagues within your room
Understanding and ensuring that the requirements of the Early Years Curriculum are met

Requirements
As a nursery assistant, you will need to:

Learn and develop your skills while working with our team
Provide engaging and purposeful experiences for children
Enhance the daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development
Assist with embedding an effective key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor
Work collaboratively with the team to support all children and colleagues within your room
Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the Early Years Curriculum are met
