Cancer Multidisciplinary Team Coordinator

The Cancer Tracker/MDM Coordinator will work closely with clinical and non-clinical staff in our cancer multidisciplinary teams, providing cover during periods of annual leave or sickness absence. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the timely movement and tracking of cancer patients through their journey from referral to treatment.
- Identifying barriers to individual patient pathways and escalating to the appropriate manager in accordance with local policy.
- Facilitating the collection, analysis, and presentation of audit data to monitor patient care.
- Coordinating regular multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure seamless patient management.
- Providing secretarial support to the Specialist Nurse team.
This role requires a PVG Scheme membership/record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group, an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before beginning in post.
