Job Title: Music Educator

Job Type: Temporary

Location: Yorkshire and the Humber, North Yorkshire, Redcar

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified Music Educator to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Music Educator, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and dynamic music lessons to students.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver music lessons to students
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive music curriculum
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Organise and participate in school music events and performances
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the music education programme

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Music Education or a related field
  • Experience working with children and young people in an educational setting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Music Education or a related field
  • Experience in leading music ensembles or choirs
  • Experience in using technology to enhance music education

Working Conditions:

  • Temporary position, with a duration of 6 weeks
  • Full-time hours, with the expectation to work some evenings and weekends for events
  • Work within a school environment
