Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Management Professional to join our team at Stockport Homes Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver multiple planned works contracts, projects, and small works from inception to completion, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Manage the safe delivery of repairs, small works, planned maintenance, and refurbishment projects, leveraging available resources effectively.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, site teams, and sub-contractors, maintaining excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ensure compliance with current health and safety legislation through the implementation of method statements and risk assessments.
Requirements
  • A proven track record in Project Management, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Holding a current CSCS Black card and NVQ 6 or equivalent in construction management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Health & Safety, with knowledge of regulations and best practices.
  • Experience supervising large trade and multi-trade operative teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Prior experience in Social housing projects is essential; M&E experience is desirable but not mandatory.
