As a Merchandise Operations Coordinator, you will play a vital role in the merchandising team, maximising commercial opportunities through accurate stock management. Your key responsibilities will include planning and forecasting to control SKUs, maximise sell-through and achieve stock targets contributing to high customer experience levels.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work with a market leading textile business in Greater Manchester, designing textiles for bedrooms, living rooms, prioritising sustainability by sourcing responsible cotton and reducing single-use plastic from the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Stock management involves coordinating multiple supplier lead times to meet stock KPI targets ensuring 100% availability to demand.
  2. Weekly/Monthly/Yearly analysis of customer forecasts and sales data informs effective planning.
  3. Collaboration with internal stakeholders ensures cohesion between sales, merchandising, production, and warehouse teams.
  4. Monitoring sales forecasts and performances enables timely communication with customers and channels teams resolving issues effectively.
Requirements
  1. Strong analytical background in stock management and control.
  2. Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP and Pivot tables.
  3. Experience in merchandise planning within fast-moving supply chains.
  4. Data-driven decision making and analytical skills.
