Job Summary

EnerSys Delaware Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project and Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development of new processes, designing and implementing manufacturing systems, and ensuring the seamless transition of products from design to production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop technical specifications for new manufacturing systems and machinery
  • Compile detailed cost estimates and agree budgets with engineering manager
  • Advise and coordinate with technical and process engineering teams on new equipment and process design
  • Review existing manufacturing systems and select modern manufacturing techniques to drive efficiency, cost, and quality improvement
  • Lead and take ownership of site projects from specification development to commissioning and validation
Requirements
  • BSc/BEng/MEng degree in Manufacturing Systems, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
  • Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt or Green Belt qualified
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role
