About the Role

In this vital role, you will serve as the strategic link between suppliers, procurement, and planning teams, leading efforts to unify and streamline our approach across a global network. Your primary focus will be on coordinating global demand forecasts and supply planning to ensure they are in sync. You will also analyze trends, sales data, spares data, and production capabilities to accurately predict and address future supply needs.

Responsibilities
  • Design and enforce inventory policies aimed at reducing excess stock and minimizing stockouts. Continuously monitor inventory performance metrics and implement corrective actions as required.
  • Support the team in managing planning parameters, such as safety stocks and minimum order quantities (MoQ), and in applying effective forecasting methods.
  • Facilitate demand meetings with internal Elekta customers, acting as the primary escalation point for service, production, and commercial internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels across various supply chain stages, aiming to achieve high customer satisfaction while mitigating inventory risks.
  • Lead recovery planning efforts in instances of deviation from planned outcomes.
  • Foster team skill development through training and personalized development plans.
  • Communicate supply chain performance, challenges, and opportunities effectively to all relevant parties.
  • Prepare and manage the supply planning budget, ensuring adherence to financial targets.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, or a related role is required.
  • A degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Management Science, Operational Research, Business, Economics, Statistics/Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with a desire to learn scripting languages for data analysis and data visualization are necessary.
