Job Title: Inspection Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Inspection Manager to join our Major Programmes division, providing delivery management of inspection, quality assurance, and fabrication management services for multi-million pound projects within the Clean Energy, Defence, and Infrastructure sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mobilise and oversee contracts from a delivery perspective
  • Travel to various sites (national and international) to ensure Bureau Veritas representatives provide excellent customer service and understanding of project requirements
  • Lead technical delivery during project mobilisation, supporting project and quality management principles
  • Ensure effective dissemination of Delivery Strategy throughout the Project Supply Chain
  • Contribute to and draft technical aspects of major proposals, supporting tender processes, and interacting with potential client stakeholders to win new work

Requirements:

  • Excellent fabrication inspection and engineering experience in supply chain in the offshore wind, nuclear, defence, or oil & gas industry
  • Excellent working knowledge of manufacturing techniques, processes, and standards
  • Solid experience managing teams and building trusted relationships with clients and supply chain participants
  • Ability to adopt a proactive, self-motivated approach to technical and non-technical work
  • Experience of managing a range of stakeholders and a successful track record of influencing and business development
