Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join their team in the Memory Assessment Service. As a member of the multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective assessment, planning, and formulation of patient care.
Main Duties:
- Applying specialist knowledge and understanding of strategies and interventions in the treatment of dementia.
- Confidently identifying and managing risk factors, taking appropriate action when required.
- Facilitating communication between GPs, LCFT services, and non-statutory organisations to ensure the highest possible standards of patient care.
- Providing mentoring and clinical supervision to other staff members and trainees on placement.
- Actively promoting the Trust's values within the MAS service, in accordance with the NMC and HPC codes of conduct.
- Assisting the team manager in providing effective leadership within the MAS team, ensuring thorough assessment, formulation, planning, and monitoring of care delivered to patients and their carers.
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
- Proven experience as a Registered Mental Health Nurse
- Valid NMC Registration
