About the Role:
We are seeking an exceptional KS1 Teacher to join our team at a vibrant and fun primary school based in Redbridge. The successful candidate will have strong communication and analytical abilities, as well as the ability to teach a fun-loving Year 2 class. This is a full-time position that requires excellent behavior management skills, with a focus on creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Teaching the Key stage 1 curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses
* Further developing maths ability and introducing fractions, statistics, and geometry
* Keeping track of children's progress and occasionally reporting back to parents
* As a KS1 teacher, you will be responsible for the pastoral care of the children, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment

Requirements:
* Qualified teacher status (QTS)
* Experience teaching primary school students, ideally in KS1
* A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
* Excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team
* A passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to ongoing professional development
* Good behaviour management skills, with a focus on creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Enhanced DBS check and professional references
