Job Description: Primary PE Specialist

As a Primary PE Specialist, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of athletes and promoting a love of sport among our students.

Your key responsibilities will include leading PE lessons, supporting pupils with daily tasks and activities, and providing emotional support to ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment.

About the Role:

  • Lead PE lessons across the school, promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles
  • Support pupils to access the curriculum, ensuring inclusive and engaging learning experiences
  • Support students with daily tasks and activities, fostering a sense of community and teamwork
  • Provide emotional support and manage behaviour within established guidelines

What We're Looking For:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • PE specialist qualification or experience teaching PE in Primary settings
  • A valid Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children

Salary and Benefits: Estimated salary £32,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits package including pension scheme and professional development opportunities
