Key Responsibilities

As a Data Insights Analyst at Primary Care Sheffield, you will be responsible for helping internal stakeholders articulate their information requirements and advising on how data can be used to support business processes and decision making.

Key Duties

  1. Lead analytical development through the use of appropriate tools to extract, transform, query and present data, continuing to develop and improve the use of Power BI in PCS.
  2. Undertake data analysis, data modelling and data predictive based upon identified business needs, including business process changes, technical options, costs and timetables, human resources and risks.
  3. Produce/contribute to effective tender responses, proposals, reports, presentations to support business growth and service reporting.
  4. Work closely with the relevant manager(s) to define, agree and produce regular BI reports/dashboards for internal and external consumption.
  5. Develop and maintain complex data extraction and reporting solutions.
  6. Provide authoritative information, guidance and advice on analytical solutions and implementation, ensuring compliance with PCS policies, standards and strategy.
  7. Promote a culture within the organisation that recognises the benefits of an evidence-based approach.
  8. Promote a culture within the organisation that recognises the benefits of effective performance management.
  9. Be proactive in pursuing new and improved technical solutions.
  10. Any other duties as required which are commensurate with the post.
