Job Description

This role is part of the Crédit Agricole Group's International Trade Banking division, focusing on supply chain finance, forfaiting, and cash management services.

Responsibilities:
  • We are looking for a skilled professional to provide middle office support, ensuring seamless execution of transactions and activities.
  • The ideal candidate will maintain high levels of interaction with Front Office teams, guaranteeing full knowledge of business developments, including pipeline activity.
  • This position serves as the first point of contact for supply chain finance, forfaiting, and cash management activities.
Supply Chain Finance and Forfaiting Responsibilities:
  • You will manage relationships with borrowers and agents on RSF transactions, ensuring timely completion and compliance.
  • Review and comment on draft documentation for new transactions, highlighting areas requiring discussion or review by the Front Office.
  • Ensure necessary credit approvals are in place before opening new credit lines or accounts.
  • Prepare transmission sheets for back-office and Risk when applicable.
  • Orientate yourself with all relevant documentation, create transactions in bank systems, and ensure executed copies are provided to Risk and back office, sent to Legal for safekeeping.
  • Liaise with Risk and BSG for daily handling of deals.
  • Manage drawdowns and repayments, coordinating with Back office.
  • Book and maintain transactions in Middle-Office Systems when required (committed lines).
  • Maintain diary systems to monitor all actions on the portfolio.
  • Prepare audit responses.
  • Address ad-hoc queries related to deals accurately and promptly.
  • Evaluate and update procedures for each supply chain and reverse forfaiting, ensuring controls files are properly stored.
Cash Management and Client Services Responsibilities:
  • You will support FO teams to ensure timely and quality service on cash management activities – account openings, amendments, closures, and associated services.
  • Cash management includes deposit accounts, boosted deposit accounts, payments (domestic and cross-border), e-banking (OPTIM.NET and OPTIM SWIFNet).
  • You will process clients' requests related to accounts (bank statements, changes of authorized signatories, etc.) accurately and in a timely manner.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a solid understanding of financial concepts. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are also essential.
