Job Description:
Cultivating Young Minds in Croydon

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Learning Support Specialist to join our team at Aspire Learning, an independent primary school providing innovative education for children aged 5-11 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

About the Role:
The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced teaching staff to deliver personalized support and care to students with varying levels of ability. This will include assisting with educational activities, supporting emotional well-being, and promoting independence.

Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to students with complex needs
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement tailored learning plans
- Assist with daily routines, including personal care and hygiene
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment, promoting social interaction and confidence

Requirements:
- Experience working with children with ASC and speech, language, and communication needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
- Enhanced DBS clearance required

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately £25,000-£30,000, depending on experience.
