Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Civils Contracts Manager to join our team at Steve Ball Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our Civils team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality construction projects throughout the UK.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing civil works across various sectors while working for a main contractor. You will ensure that all works are completed to the highest level of quality and in line with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proven experience in upfront planning and mobilization prior to commencing site works.
  • Effective management of senior site staff and motivating workforce to meet project deadlines and targets.
  • Fostering a continuous improvement culture through collaboration with the project team.
  • Input into resource management, including 'look ahead' programmes, material scheduling, plant forecasting, and labour forecasting.


Requirements and Qualifications:
A minimum of [£80,000] - [£90,000] per annum salary, plus car allowance or bonus, and healthcare benefits.

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.

  • An understanding of industry best practices and a commitment to continuous improvement.
