Vehicle Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Inspector to join our Service Department in Prescot. The successful candidate will conduct thorough vehicle inspections and MOT tests in accordance with relevant regulations.

As an experienced mechanic, you will have a strong understanding of vehicle systems and be able to identify and diagnose any defects or issues found during the testing process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect vehicles for safety and compliance with emissions standards
• Conduct MOT tests accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid MOT Tester license
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues

Benefits:

• Basic salary: £35,000 plus bonus
• Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm – Saturday 1 in 3 paid at overtime
