Data Asset Management Director

Meet Boston is seeking a seasoned management professional to lead special projects and activations for the Boston/Cambridge Tourism Destination Marketing fund.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute strategic initiatives that drive room nights and attract new audiences.
- Manage budgets, resources, and logistics required for event planning and execution, ensuring seamless coordination with local government agencies.
- Develop and promote new events in the market to drive overnight stays and economic activity, while maintaining a strong focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Research and secure new funding opportunities to support Meet Boston's core priorities, including workforce development, sustainability, and accessibility.
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
- A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in programming and activations, with a strong background in event development and management.
- Solid fiscal management and a proven track record of successfully managing budgets and resources.
- Extensive knowledge of Boston and Cambridge, with a deep understanding of the city's key tourism assets and permitting requirements.
