About the Role

We are recruiting for a Drivers Mate with excellent customer service skills to deliver white goods to customers' homes with a driver. This is an ongoing position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver, install, and demonstrate White Goods, Televisions, and Cookers in customers' properties
  • Engage with customers, keep them informed, and ensure delivery and installation meet the highest standards
  • Maintain regular contact with the site to meet changes to customer delivery requests, discuss and escalate unplanned issues, and adapt as necessary
  • Use handheld operating devices correctly, complete visits, and obtain customer signatures
  • Liaise with Manufacturers at the point of delivery when necessary
  • Handle products safely and with care, supporting colleagues to do the same
  • Meet the physical requirements of the role
  • Ensure continuous professional development, keeping required training and knowledge up to date
  • Manage changing volumes of load held in the vehicle during the day, regularly review, adjust, and secure the load to ensure safety

Working Hours

  • Any 5 from 7 days
  • Weekends included
  • 07.30AM STARTS
  • Between 8-10 hours shifts

Pay

  • £11.50 per hour
  • £14.07 per hour dependant
