Mainframe Developer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and improve software using various engineering methodologies, providing business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools, ensuring code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
  • Participate in code reviews, promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing, and stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations.
  • Implement effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability, and take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls.
Requirements:
  • Software development experience, including Agile development.
  • Strong understanding of industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
