About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hosting solutions, ensuring service continuity, and driving customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with project management and delivery teams to streamline customer onboarding, lead incident management and escalations, and provide proficient database administration and troubleshooting.

You will also contribute to forward planning, enhance customer awareness, and deliver management information that aligns with our business strategy, goals, and objectives. We encourage you to share valuable insights and intelligence with the Group to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Onboarding Collaboration: Collaborate with project management and delivery teams to streamline the onboarding of new customers efficiently.
  • Incident Resolution Leadership: Lead incident management and escalations, ensuring the delivery of timely, high-quality updates to customers.
  • Database Administration: Provide proficient database administration and adeptly troubleshoot database-related issues.
  • Service Desk Collaboration: Work closely with the service desk team to provide robust support for Idox applications on hosted platforms.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of emerging technologies through continuous professional development.
  • Information Security: Adherence to Idox policies and protocols.
  • System Proficiency: Possess a proficient working knowledge of back-office and web-based systems, preferably gained from experience in local government settings.
  • Tech Enthusiasm: Show a genuine passion for technology and a strong eagerness to acquire new IT skills and terminology.
  • Scripting Expertise: Showcase a proven track record in creating scripts using languages such as SQL, PowerShell, Python, and VBS.
  • Web Technology Mastery: Have expertise in web technologies including Apache and IIS.
  • Database Proficiency: Exhibit experience with relational databases like Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
  • Infrastructure Knowledge: Possess an understanding of data centres, virtualized environments, and their administration, particularly through VMWare.
Our Benefits:

ERSG Ltd offers a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer flexible working arrangements, including remote work options, to enable employees to achieve a better work-life balance.
