About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cyber Security Undergraduate to join our team at National Grid.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and assessing potential security risks, protecting our vital infrastructure, and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.

This role is based in Wokingham, with hybrid working options available. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cyber security principles, practices, and technologies, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing and assessing potential security risks to our systems and data.
  • Developing and implementing effective security solutions to mitigate these risks.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that our security measures are aligned with business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Cyber Security, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of cyber security principles, practices, and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A valid full UK driving license (desired).
