About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team in Sheffield. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of complex bespoke, robot-based, electro-mechanical systems for factory and process automation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage project teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
  2. Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  4. Manage project risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies.
  5. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and customers.
Requirements
  1. Minimum of three years' experience in a project management or project engineering role.
  2. Qualification in project management or equivalent experience.
  3. Degree in an engineering-related subject.
  4. Demonstrable experience managing teams at all levels in a project environment.
  5. Strong relationship-building skills, able to engage effectively at all levels both internally and externally.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  7. Competence in organising project meetings, both internally and with high-level customer representatives.
  8. Willingness to travel occasionally.
