Corporate Solicitor Opportunity at Jameson Legal

Jameson Legal, a leading international law firm, is seeking an experienced Corporate Solicitor to join their team in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and growing Corporate team, dealing with complex matters including private and public M&A, private equity, ECM, venture capital, joint ventures, corporate restructuring, and recovery.

The team in Scotland has a strong local, national, and international client base in sectors including technology, funds, infrastructure, manufacturing, leisure, and retail. To be successful in this role, candidates will need 5+ years of PQE in Corporate Law gained within a leading private practice team and/or in-house.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and execution of complex corporate transactions, including M&A, private equity, and ECM.
  • Provide expert advice on corporate law matters, including joint ventures, corporate restructuring, and recovery.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including private equity and venture capital, to deliver seamless client service.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of PQE in Corporate Law.
  • Experience in a leading private practice team and/or in-house.
  • Strong understanding of corporate law, including M&A, private equity, and ECM.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
