Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Integration and Validation Engineer to drive the delivery of integrated HW and SW in our New Technology and New Model Introduction Programs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning overall SW and HW technical integration, defining integration points, and assessing SW/HW compatibility. They will also review systems requirements for testability, create test specifications and test cases, and coordinate testing of EES features on bikes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute SW and HW technical integration
- Define and implement integration points
- Assess SW/HW compatibility and identify potential issues
- Review systems requirements for testability and create test specifications
- Coordinate testing of EES features on bikes
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts
- Analyze HIL and bikes test data and reports
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in an automotive/manufacturing/industrial environment
- Proficient planning of Integrated Software delivery into complex systems
- Proficient with CANoe and CANalyzer
- Knowledge of diagnostic protocol and re-programming
- Proficient in Systems test and validation
- Proficient in Microsoft packages including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Knowledge of full Systems Engineering lifecycle/V model
- Detailed Knowledge of CAN communication
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
Essential Education:
- BEng or MEng in Technical subject with modules covering software planning and integration etc or equivalent and relevant experience
Additional Information:
- Reports to: Integration and Validation Lead Engineer – EES
- Willing to undertake UK and Overseas travel
- Flexible on working hours
