Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Care and Activities Coordinator to join our team at a Barchester care home. As a Bank Activities Coordinator, you will help create a stimulating environment that enables us to deliver exceptional all-round care and support for our residents. Your role will involve getting to know our residents and their families before creating tailored activities programmes focused on maximising everyone's wellbeing, independence, and social engagement.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create imaginative, fun, and motivational activities that suit every interest and ability.
  • Develop strong relationships with residents and their families.
  • Organise and lead activities within the home and in the local community.

About You:

We are looking for someone warm, empathetic, and personable who can inspire our residents and staff to get involved in activities. Your organisational skills and driven mindset mean you always get things done and make things happen. Any similar experience would be ideal, but it isn't essential, as we'll provide training to develop your skills and progress your career with us.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
