London, Greater London, United Kingdom Camp Beaumont Full time

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Children's Activities Manager to join our management team at Camp Beaumont.

This is a pivotal role in creating unforgettable experiences for children, where you will be at the heart of our operations, guiding and supporting our team to deliver exceptional day camp programs and ensuring the well-being of all our young camp members.

About the Role:

You will have overall responsibility for a multi-activity day camp for 3 to 14-year-olds during weekdays. You will be the person that everyone at camp looks to for motivation, support, and direction, therefore you must show knowledge and experience working within a childcare setting and managing small teams.

The ability to communicate effectively is essential in this position as you will often interact with parents and work closely with the Area Manager and other departments.

About You:

Over 18 years old, available to work during school holidays, a UK/EU citizen with two right-to-work IDs, and holding relevant qualifications such as a Level 3 qualification in Childcare or studying towards one. Experience working in a childcare setting and managing a small team is also required.

Possessing bags of energy, enthusiasm, initiative, and the ability to work independently, you should have high-level safeguarding awareness and either possess or be willing to obtain paediatric first aid certification.

As a Children's Activities Manager, you will lead and deliver a variety of engaging sports and craft activities, let your imagination run wild, enjoy weekends off (our camps run Monday to Friday), and have opportunities for progression through continuous learning and development with us.

Our comprehensive wellbeing strategy prioritizes your personal and professional growth, offering competitive rates of pay (£15.30 - £19 per hour*), including holiday pay, and providing many opportunities for career advancement.

Please note that successful candidates must undergo an enhanced DBS disclosure and provide two professional references.
