Inclusive Learning Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced Inclusive Learning Support Worker to join our team at Long Term Futures. As an Inclusive Learning Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a Key Stage 2 setting.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide individualized support to students with SEN, working closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to develop and implement tailored strategies to meet the unique needs of each student.

This is a long-term position that offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students who require additional support to succeed academically and socially. The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering targeted interventions that promote pupils' personal development, wellbeing, and confidence within the school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to students with SEN, focusing on tailored strategies to meet their individual needs.
  • Facilitate small group sessions, encouraging engagement, social interaction, and collaborative learning among students with SEN.
  • Encourage active participation in classroom activities, creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all learners.
  • Deliver targeted interventions that promote students' personal development, wellbeing, and confidence within the school setting.

Requirements:

  • A recognized teaching assistant qualification or a relevant degree.

Salary Range: £90 - £105 per day, depending on experience.
