Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Multiskilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at Randstad CPE. In this role, you will be responsible for performing reactive maintenance on plumbing, mechanical systems, HVAC units, and building fabric. You will also carry out PPM tasks according to the maintenance schedule, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:
  • Perform reactive maintenance on plumbing, mechanical systems, HVAC units, and building fabric.
  • Carry out PPM tasks according to the maintenance schedule, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in plumbing systems, mechanical equipment, and HVAC units.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and potential issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work carried out.
  • Coordinate with other maintenance team members and departments to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Participate in an on-call rota (1 in 4 weeks) to provide emergency maintenance support.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following requirements:
  • NVQ 3 in Plumbing or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in a similar multi-skilled maintenance role, ideally within a commercial or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, mechanical maintenance, HVAC, and building fabric maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to manage workload efficiently.
