About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Medicine Consultant to join our team at George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust. As a Senior Clinical Lead in Emergency Medicine, you will play a key role in providing senior clinical, managerial, and teaching cover for the Emergency Medicine department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the consultant medical team to provide senior clinical, managerial, and teaching cover for the Emergency Medicine department.
  • Train, supervise, and take professional accountability for non-consultant medical staff in the Emergency Medicine department.
  • Work flexibly with colleagues to increase direct senior clinical input in patient care.

Requirements

  • Completion or within six months of completion of a Specialist Training Programme in Emergency Medicine.
  • MBBS or equivalent qualification.
  • FRCEM/FCEM/FRCS/MRCP/European Board certification.
  • Full GMC Registration.
