Norse Group is seeking an experienced Employment Consultant to join their Support Services Recruitment Department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of business areas and delivering high-quality recruitment solutions. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring effective recruitment strategies are implemented across various business areas, including Care, Facilities, waste, or business support roles.

About the Role

You will collaborate closely with departmental managers and directors, as well as the wider HR team, to provide expert advice and guidance on role definition, campaign creation, salary analysis, and offer management. Your experience will help ensure the recruitment process is efficient, effective, and compliant with relevant legislation and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
As an Employment Consultant, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Managing a diverse portfolio of Norse business areas, which may encompass Care, Facilities, waste, or business support roles;
* Collaborating with departmental managers and directors, as well as the wider HR team, to provide expert advice and guidance on recruitment matters;
* Developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies that align with organizational objectives;
* Ensuring adherence to HR processes, policies, and best practices;
* Attracting quality staff through impactful adverts, targeted campaigns, and the effective use of social media and recruitment platforms;
* Attending local recruitment events and jobs fairs;
* Supporting the Recruitment Manager and wider HR function in ad-hoc projects;

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of experience and knowledge of the recruitment industry and associated processes. Key qualifications and skills include:
* A good understanding of the full 360 recruitment process and fundamental recruitment legislation and best practices;
* Experience creating targeted recruitment campaigns for various roles and disciplines;
* Understanding of social media in a recruitment environment, with experience using different platforms and headhunting tools;
* Experience undertaking proactive recruitment initiatives;
* Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the confidence to engage and advise a varied audience at all levels;
* Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and application tracking systems;
