Apparel Design and Product Assistant

We are seeking an Apparel Design and Product Assistant to join our team at Provallar Executive Search. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in both design and product development in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Design Manager and Product Manager in their daily tasks.
  • Conduct research on current trends and colour palettes for the design team.
  • Measure and prepare samples for fittings with the Garment Tech and Product Manager.
  • Lab dip check and approve samples with suppliers.
  • Attend fittings and upload photos to workbooks.
  • Develop and maintain collection overviews, tech packs, and workbooks.
  • Design SMU collections to a given brief.
  • Assist the design team with tech packs for main Inline and SMU collections.
  • Meet deadlines and manage critical paths and calendars.
  • Proficient in design software (Adobe Illustrator) and Microsoft Excel.

Requirements:

  • Enthusiasm for gaining experience in design and product development.
  • Able to multitask with strict adherence to deadlines.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
  • Proficient in design software (Adobe Illustrator) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a collaborative and innovative team.
