We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisory Manager to join our team at Forvis Mazars. As a key member of our Corporate Tax Advisory team, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients navigate the complexities of tax codes and ensure they are fulfilling all their obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their issues and anticipating their needs.
- Negotiate and raise fees, and be responsible for WIP management on your portfolio of clients.
- Develop the wider team through technical excellence, soft skill development, and on-the-job training.
Requirements:
- ACA and/or CTA (or qualified by experience)
- Extensive experience of working with a portfolio of clients to provide rich advisory services.
- Demonstrate broad and strong technical tax knowledge and experience, specifically R&D tax relief, Patent Box, or Transactions tax.
- Experience of identifying opportunities for business development on tax clients (and ideally across other service lines).
- Ideally proficient in Alphatax.
