SalaryThe hourly rate for this position starts from £13.09 per hour, with opportunities for annual salary reviews.
Job DescriptionThis role involves supporting nursery colleagues in delivering engaging and educational play activities that promote child development and ensure their safety throughout the day.
As part of a larger team, you will work collaboratively to maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment, promoting child welfare, protection, health, and safety, and safeguarding.
Required Skills and Qualifications- A full and relevant Level 2 or above Early Years qualification
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery setting
- A passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
- Effective communication skills to interact with both children and adults
- A sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding practices
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the demands of the role
