Senior Audit and Accounts Role at Armstrong Knight

Armstrong Knight is seeking a highly skilled Senior Audit and Accounts professional to join their team in Norwich. As a leading Norfolk practice, we offer a dynamic and challenging environment for experienced accountants to grow and develop their careers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead audit assignments in various industries, including construction, manufacturing, and care homes, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting client expectations.
  • Prepare accounts for corporate clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Manage the preparation of corporation tax returns and computations, providing expert advice and guidance to clients.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, promoting professional development and growth within the team.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in audit and accounts, with a strong background in practice environments and general accounting.
  • Proficiency in Sage software and Microsoft Excel, as well as other Microsoft applications and accounting software.
  • Working knowledge of Corporation Tax and its application in various industries.
  • ACA or ACCA qualification, or equivalent, with a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to think strategically and lead teams effectively.
