Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Four Seasons Health Care. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example, demonstrating a person-centred approach and promoting a positive and supportive environment for residents and colleagues alike.
  • Review and update care plans to ensure they meet residents' needs and wishes, working closely with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  • Plan and review staff rotas to ensure adequate care support is available at all times, promoting a healthy work-life balance for colleagues.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of care, ensuring all areas of the care home are clean, tidy, and pleasant for residents and visitors.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals, promoting a positive and professional image of the care home.
  • Contribute to the development of the care home's reputation within the local community, promoting our services and values.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care, with evidence of working in a healthcare environment.
  • A positive and proactive approach, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care and support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A passion for delivering high-quality care and making a positive difference in the lives of others.
