Job Purpose:
A Commissioning Engineer is required to support the delivery of plant improvements and commissioning activities across UNS. The role involves providing support to the Design Authority in the role of DAIC for Commissioning, interfacing with Engineering, Projects and Operations functions. The successful candidate will oversee control and testing of plant modifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Works in a highly regulated environment.
- Duly Authorised Person (DAP) for the control and supervision of Commissioning in line with LC21.
- Provides support to Engineering and Projects functions in relation to all Acceptance and Commissioning activities and oversees the handover process.
- Provides technical support, training and governance to Engineering and Projects functions in the role of Design Authority Intelligent Customer (DAIC).
- Provides problem solving and project support to wider UNS functions.
- Delivers improvement activities.
Requirements:
- Several years commissioning and design support experience in a highly regulated industry.
- Good understanding of other UNS disciplines, technologies, plant systems and processes.
