As a cybersecurity strategist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data assets. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the Director of Business Information Security in overseeing all aspects of information security, cyber security, and data privacy within LSEG's Post Trade division.

The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in senior InfoSec management roles, preferably in the FS or FMI industry. They must have a strong background in problem-solving, innovation, and critical thinking, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences is essential.

You will work closely with various stakeholders across the organization, including risk, compliance, legal, human resources, and internal and external audit functions. Your knowledge of emerging technologies, including security technologies, and the cyber threat landscape will enable you to propose and explain appropriate cyber risk countermeasures clearly and concisely.

  • Analyze and assess information security and cyber controls to ensure their effectiveness and alignment with organizational risk appetite.
  • Develop and maintain a Cyber Risk Profile for LSEG's Post Trade division, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Collaborate with technology and cyber teams to design and implement secure solutions that meet regulatory requirements.
  • Engage with external third-party providers to ensure they meet contracted levels of security.
  • Maintain accurate records of key performance indicators, risk assessments, and control gap analyses.
