About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Protection Adviser to join our team at Rolls-Royce Submarines Limited (RRSL) in Derby. The successful candidate will provide expert advice and guidance on ionising radiation safety to various parts of the business.

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing, planning, undertaking, and reporting independent oversight and assurance assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice, guidance, and assurance to areas within RRSL that the hazards and risks associated with Ionising Radiation are being appropriately controlled.
  • Support the Radiation Protection Function for RRSL and Rolls Royce PLC.
What We Offer

We offer an excellent salary package, with company pension contributions up to 12% of your salary. You will also receive 26 days leave + public holidays, with the ability to accrue an additional 10 days leave through additional hours. Furthermore, you will be eligible for employee support assistance and employee discounts.

Hybrid working is available, allowing you to balance your time between the office, home, or another remote location. As a minimum, we expect all employees to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week.
