The Role

We are seeking a skilled MOD Hose Inspector/Installer to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be based on site, working on MOD docked vessels, with occasional travel between our Plymouth and Portsmouth sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site surveys of Flexible Hose Assemblies on MOD vessels, visually inspecting hoses and fittings in accordance with established procedures.
  • Identify hose types, fittings, and condition, adhering to procedures.
  • Tag and register hoses, ensuring accurate and timely completion of hose registers and reports.
  • Perform hose assembly and pressure testing, maintaining a safe and hazard-free work environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this position, you will have proven work experience in the manufacture and/or inspection of flexible hoses, demonstrating knowledge of inspection and testing procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, particularly for generating reports and registers, is also essential.
