About the Role:This exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering analytical support to assist in the management of our contracts with Clinical Commissioning Groups, NHS England, Local Authority Commissioners, and Prime Contractors.
You will be responsible for bringing analytical expertise to the management of our contracting process, building relationships with both commissioners and their agents, and being key to understanding and articulating changes to the National Tariff Payment System rules. You will also provide advice on matters of tariff to our Divisional Managers, Project Management Office, and other internal stakeholders.
As part of Continuing Professional Development, you will be expected to take an active interest in the development of your skills, experience, and career.
Main Duties:- Develop and deliver analytical support to the Contracts team to assist in the management of our contract portfolio, including CCG, NHS England, Prime Contracts, and Local Authority contracts for services.
- Manage the monthly challenge process to coordinate our response to income challenges within the national timeframe, liaising with the Data Quality team, Information and Operational teams to resolve monthly income challenges.
- Provide analytical support regarding the investigation of and response to Activity Query Notices and Contract Performance Notices.
- Maintain awareness of changes to national and local commissioning policy; provide robust advice to Divisional Managers to improve compliance with commissioning policy.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in business intelligence and data analysis, with experience of working in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to critically appraise complex data and information.
- Familiarity with BI tools and the ability to use them to extract insights from large datasets.
