This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Credit Controller at the Talent Recruitment Group. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth management of our clients' financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the credit control and collections process across multiple entities, ensuring timely and efficient management of customer accounts.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve customer queries and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Monitor customer credit limits and spending, ensuring that our clients' financial interests are protected.
- Set up new customer accounts and run credit reports as needed, ensuring that our clients' financial information is up-to-date and accurate.
- Produce reports on overdue accounts, making collection calls and suspending deliveries as necessary.
- Follow company procedures for high-risk customers, changes in ownership, business closures, and liquidation/administration.
- Assist in initiating legal proceedings when necessary, ensuring that our clients' rights are protected.
- Provide ad-hoc accounts administration support, ensuring that our clients' financial needs are met.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new processes, ensuring that our clients' financial operations are efficient and effective.
This is a newly created position, offering you the opportunity to shape the role as the team grows and evolves. You will be at the forefront of financial operations, ensuring that our clients maintain their reputation for reliability and efficiency.
You will work closely with our Transactional team manager, who is a super capable leader. This is a dynamic role where you can make a significant impact, and you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients' financial operations are running smoothly.
The successful candidate will need to be a confident communicator, someone who can come up with solutions and find ways to get buy-in from colleagues and stakeholders alike with a continuous improvement mindset.
Experience with Sage 200 is desirable, but not essential. What is essential is that you are a positive, up-for-a-challenge, and can-do attitude and approach to your work.
Requirements- 1 year of experience in credit control
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Desirable experience with Sage 200
