Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Site Operations Manager to join our team at Rogers McHugh Recruitment. As a Site Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities on site and ensuring that the construction program is being followed on time and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day activities on site and ensure that the construction program is being followed on time and safely.
- Pro-actively manage sub-contractors who will be conducting internal fit out and refurbishment works.
- Be hands-on when required to help drive the project.
- Ensure that health and safety is being adhered to at all times and reports are being sent to the PM at the end of every shift.
- Conduct site inductions, tool box talks, and monitor the signing in books.
- Manage a full site program to complete projects on time and to budget.
- Motivate sub-contractors and trades on site.
- Produce regular and clear progress reports.
Requirements:
- Strong background in fit out and refurbishment (retail fit out preferred).
- Joiner/Carpenter background.
- SMSTS, CSCS (gold, white, black), 3 day First Aid, UKATA Asbestos and Fire Marshall certificates required.
- Worked on projects with a value up to £500k.
- Ability to conduct site inductions and toolbox talks.
- Confidence in conducting site and progress meetings.
