Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer

CMK Resources, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Reliability Engineer to work directly with one of our key customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Kubernetes and a proven track record of deploying and managing applications in Kubernetes environments, preferably on-premises and AKS.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy, manage, and support large-scale Portworx deployments in public clouds and on-premises clusters.
  • Deploy, manage, and support large-scale PX-Backup deployments in public clouds and on-premises clusters.
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain Helm charts.
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain Grafana dashboards.
  • Prioritize technical tasks and ensure effective communication across teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes, both on-premises and in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), with CKAD and/or CKA certification required.
  • Proficiency in Linux and command line operations.
  • Expertise in Portworx Enterprise and Container Storage Interface (CSI), including integration with Pure FlashBlade/FlashArray.
  • Experience deploying and managing PX-Backup solutions.
  • Proficiency in developing, deploying, and maintaining Helm charts.
  • Strong understanding of Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and dashboards.
  • Cloud experience, specifically with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
  • VMWare experience is essential.
  • Familiarity with tools like Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong communication skills with a proactive personality and technical prioritization skills.
  • Ability to engage and collaborate with Portworx and Pure Storage teams.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience writing Shell and Python scripts for automation.
  • Familiarity with Ansible for configuration management.
  • Experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
