Public Health Wales seeks a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Clinical Transformation Lead – Respiratory Care. As part of our National Strategic Clinical Network for Respiratory Conditions, this position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the improvement of respiratory care services across Wales.

The successful candidate will work closely with our National Clinical Lead and core team to develop models of care closer to home, ensuring pathways are implemented to deliver consistent integrated delivery of care at the point of need. This requires collaboration with other Networks to achieve a whole system approach, reducing potential silo working.

This is a fixed-term/secondment position due to funding for 16 months. The ideal candidate will have evidence of relevant Continuing Professional Development, as well as experience in the care and management of patients with Respiratory Conditions. Additionally, they should possess knowledge of NHS Executive, WG, and NHS Wales policy context, national Respiratory Conditions objectives, Quality Statement, and the previous Delivery Plan and National Clinical Plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To provide professional and strategic leadership to the network within their area of expertise.
  2. To communicate the vision around future service provision of Respiratory Conditions in a way that motivates the clinical community based on improving outcomes within a value-based context from national policy through to local delivery level.
  3. To support the National Clinical Lead in the development of patient-centered models of care in line with the current and future iterations of the Quality Statement for Respiratory Conditions.

Requirements:

  • Willingness and ability to travel.
  • Evidence of relevant Continuing Professional Development.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
