About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Business Partner to join our team at National Nuclear Laboratory. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in providing financial expertise and guidance to our operational management team.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, with experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting. You will be responsible for developing and delivering insightful financial reports and performance analysis to inform key operational and commercial decisions.

You will also be responsible for leading the financial planning activity in the supported area, across multiple planning horizons. This will involve analysing business opportunities and providing options and scenarios to support business decisions.

In addition, you will be responsible for preparing robust business cases, in collaboration with the operational management team, in advance of submission to internal investment or customer committees.

The ideal candidate will have a Chartered Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) qualification and demonstrable post-qualified experience. You will also have the ability to obtain SC level security clearance.
