We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Procurement Manager to join our team at Maxim Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for providing strategic procurement advice to clients and managing procurement services from start to finish on large-scale construction-related projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clients with procurement advice on important projects, ensuring compliance with public procurement regulations.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that meet client needs and drive business growth.
- Manage procurement services, including tender preparation, evaluation, and management, to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in procurement, preferably in the construction industry or a related sector.
- Strong knowledge of public procurement regulations and e-procurement software.
- Ability to develop and implement procurement strategies that meet client needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Relevant qualifications, such as a degree in quantity surveying, law, or procurement, and/or membership of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS).
