At GLL, we're seeking a highly motivated and skilled Fitness Instructor to join our team at Keynsham Leisure Centre. As a Fitness Instructor, you'll play a vital role in helping people achieve their fitness goals and improve their overall well-being.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collecting and analysing information about individual clients to create tailored exercise programmes
  • Planning and delivering safe and effective exercise sessions, including one-to-one and group inductions
  • Teaching classes and small group training sessions, with training provided to ensure you're equipped to do so
  • Selecting relevant exercises and designing programmes that address safety and individual client needs
  • Producing programme cards for clients and suggesting exercise adaptations to accommodate individual differences
  • Using logical and progressive teaching methodologies to introduce new exercises and promote client progression
  • Providing general advice on how to progress individual programmes and assisting clients with technique correction
  • Positively interacting and motivating clients to promote retention and adherence to exercise
