To drive our growth and expansion, we seek a truly exceptional, driven, and proven Assistant Store Manager to join our Flannels team in Ipswich.
Key Responsibilities
- Maximise sales to exceed targets and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Manage and motivate the team to meet and exceed sales targets
- Be a strong presence on the shop floor to drive sales personally and through the team
- Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
- Ensure team members have the tools and knowledge to achieve key business objectives
- Manage seasonal stock presentation and merchandising in line with Head Office directives
- Maintain awareness of current and market trends, understand customer promotions, and monitor local competitors
- Ensure efficient and accurate completion of paperwork, policies, and procedures
- Drive and deliver KPIs
- Perform additional duties as necessary within defined levels of responsibility and accountability
Requirements
- A strong clientele background with a solid database of personal contacts and clients
- Previous retail experience in the premium sector is preferred
- Exceptional people management skills with strong leadership and motivational abilities
- Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills
- Excellent analytical skills to interpret financial and sales data
- A high level of brand awareness and product knowledge
- Awareness of the local area
