Job Title: Advanced Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our team at Transformation Unit. As an Advanced Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical services.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a specialist interest in TMJD, Facial Pain, and Spinal Pain, and will work within a multidisciplinary team to assess and manage complex patients. You will be required to assess patients, refer for investigations, discuss management options, and undertake treatments. A qualification in injection therapy is desirable but not essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Practice autonomously as an Advanced Physiotherapist Practitioner (APP) to provide patient-centred quality care.
  • Assess complex TMJD, Facial Pain, and Spinal patients in an APP clinic.
  • Refer for relevant investigations and discuss management options with patients.
  • Undertake treatments and review postoperative patients in clinic.
Requirements
  • Registered Clinical Professional.
  • Commitment to advanced clinical and professional development.
  • MSc Level in Advanced Clinical Practice or Equivalent in Specialty.
  • Undertaken accredited course or gained digital badge accreditation with the Centre for Advancing Practice.
  • Completed portfolio of supervised practice in specialty.
