Childcare Director

We are seeking an experienced Childcare Director to lead our team at Laindon Nursery in Basildon, Essex.

The successful candidate will inspire and lead the team to deliver high-quality early years education and care, managing the day-to-day operation of the setting and ensuring regulatory requirements are met.

The Early Years Manager will also build relationships with parents and the wider community, manage the financial sustainability of the setting, and ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to.

Requirements:

• A minimum Level 3 Early Years Education and Childcare Qualification or equivalent, with the ability to meet all standards set out in EYFS
• EYFS 2024 requirement: A level 2 Math's qualification or must achieve one within 2 years of starting in the position
• Proven post-qualification experience in working in early education and childcare
• Sound IT skills and ability to use Microsoft Office programmes, nursery management software, and online portals effectively

Salary:

£40,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
